If you are to believe to all the reviews that have been out so far from the critics, Logan is finally the movie we have waiting for. Logan won’t be out until March 3, 2017 but with the advance reviews Logan is presently holding a 96% score at Rotten Tomatoes.
The film has been compared to a contemporary western. The film has been given a R-rating, thanks to Deadpool that showed a superhero movie with a R-rating can make a money and be a hit. The film is tracking to make $60 million on it’s opening weekend. According to Jackman this will be his final appearance as Wolverine a character that he has portrayed since he originated in 2000’s X-Men. There has been some rumors coming out that Hugh Jackman is having a hard time letting go of Logan. True or not it be nice to see him do it one more time. Hey Ryan think you can get him out for a quicky in ‘Deadpool 2’.
According to Deadpool himself at the end of his movie they plan on having Nathan Summers a.k.a. Cable. But if you can not wait until then people at KandkFilms from the U.K. gave give you a fix until then.
This short film is very well done and well in better terms….awesome. Another cool thing that happens is a very well choreograph fight scene featuring the elf, Nightcrawler. Not many shorts suck me in but this one did.
What do you think?

One of the characters that Marvel decided to bring back after the Secret Wars event was Wolverine or Old Man Logan. Logan has returned to a world that was long dead to him. Waking up in New York and is dazed Logan is confronted by two cops that during a struggle is shot and this brings is memory flooding back. The anger, hate and a family lost. If you have not read the tie in books during the event of Secret Wars you maybe lost. Lemire writes a flash back scenes to help the reader understand the story that Logan will be heading on. Flashes back to is life after the villains have won. His family and is trying to live a normal life as possible.
In this world Logan has had to change his ways. To turn the other check to keep his family alive and Lemire gives us a glimpse of this in the flash back. The Butcher, a small timer in the days before the villains take over now takes great pleasure of humiliating Logan in front of his son, Scott. Here we see Logan inner struggle between the wolverine and the man he must now be.
When Logan comes to realize that has somehow managed to return before the villain take. He believes that he was sent back for a purpose. To stop history from repeating itself.
Jeff Lemire does is best to get you hooked into Old Man Logan but if you have any knowledge of the character it is not overly exciting. If you are new to the character and I believe this book if for those new readers it will get them interested.
The art by Andrea Sorrentino is interesting but I find it to be to dark and washed out at time. I don’t hate it. It may even grow on me.
Old Man Logan is an attempt to keep the Wolverine character alive in the Marvel universe with out calling him Wolverine. Not a bad attempt but lets see what the old guy has left in him.
In the end I give Old Man Logan #1, 3.5 pops out of 5
Heroic Hollywood via THR is reporting that lovable meck with a mouth will not be spreading his humor to that large movie audience. The reported violence and nudity is to much for the Chinese censor board. It is also being said that trimming down the movie would leave to many plot holes in the movie to male any sense.
Not getting that Chinese money may hurt the film but I have to believe then studio must of known that would happen. Hopefully this will ni8t become a factor taken in when it comes to deciding if Deadpool is a commercial success.
