Entertainment Weekly recently posted pictures of the two different magazine covers for the upcoming Terminator Genisys movie. Also they twitted a link to their page to see some storyboards from the production. Click the link to have a view. I have to say that I am curious about what they have and will see it on the big screen when it comes out. But in all honestly I will be treating this as a simple alternate time line movie. The original will always be my favorite. Hell if you are a fan of comic books alternate time lines are not new to you.

Well once again it is Monday and I bring a interesting piece of animation.
Created by Mitchell Hammond from the original concept by Tony Guerrero comes a very interesting idea of what a world run by Skynet would be like if Batman had been around to help John Conner fight back. Mitchell Hammond art still is heavy influenced by Japanese animation both in flow of the piece and animation. It is a beautiful piece of work. Only wish there was more to see.
30 years have passed since Bruce Wayne survived Skynet’s nuclear blasts in August of ’97. Iron demons now roam the planet, and without the requirement to defend the innocent against crime and injustice, Wayne has seeked refuge in the bomb shelter that saved his life; the Batcave.
Having scavenged the wasteland for resources, he discovers the radio of a dead soldier. There is static over a frequency. Flesh and blood is rising up to the west. With The Stinger; a riot control vehicular unit built before the apocalypse along with a refitted bomb blast vest, Batman makes his way across what remains of the United States to join forces with the man determined to neutralize the electronic menace – John Conner.
Well guess what, the brains in Hollywood have decided to reboot another franchise because it takes less time to reboot a movie than think of anything new. Report on The Nerdist, Paramount Pictures, in association with Annapurna Pictures and Skydance Productions will start production of a proposed trilogy of movies.
Of course this new movie will not have an Arnie in them, well that is my guess. The movies will have nothing to do with the Arnie Terminator movies. No cast or crew has been announced for what has been reported a 2015 release date.
I am sure they hope that the movie going public will again just give their money away with the 18-25 male audience being the bigger spenders. Since the original Terminator movie the video game business has become huge and the movie will contain much more violence so they can keep the attention of the new younger audience.
