‘Deadpool’ Laughing To The Bank

NEdlLgi3j1tRgd_3_bAccording to a article in Variety written by Dave McNary “Deadpool” could make as much a $100 million on this long weekend.

Making a estimated a Friday opening of $35 million, which also includes the $12.7 million from the late night screenings.

Fox had been hoping for a debut of between $60 to $65 million but with some creative marking it looks like it will beat out “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” $93 million opening on the same weekend last year.

After years of trying to get the movie made it looks like Ryan Reynolds will finally gets a franchise and people will forget about that other superhero movie he made (cough) Green Lantern.

The film has been getting some good reviews and has scored 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  Not bad for a movie with a estimated budget of $58 million.

The Trailer Park: The Voices

I honestly have to say I do not remembering hearing about this movie. Also as I write this I can not remember how I came across this trailer. Stupid brain.  Anyway this looks like  fun movie. Okay movies about a serial killer are not meant to be funny but this one looks like it.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Jerry and likeable guy that has one problem. Jerry cat and dog that talk to him. The cat as most cats is the one telling Jerry to kill. His dog is a  kind, compassionate soul.  Poor Jerry listen to the cat and ends up becoming a killer.

The movie looks fun and funny. I don’t go and spend my cash that much at the theaters any more but may go on a cheap day and catch this one.
