I thought I bring you this interesting short film I found on Youtube on the The CGBros channel.
In a grim apocalyptic future where mankind lives underground, a woman struggles to save her son from dying of mechanical lung failure. After all other options fail, her only hope is to venture to the desolate surface and face the ferocious monsters that drove mankind below!
If you are to believe to all the reviews that have been out so far from the critics, Logan is finally the movie we have waiting for. Logan won’t be out until March 3, 2017 but with the advance reviews Logan is presently holding a 96% score at Rotten Tomatoes.
The film has been compared to a contemporary western. The film has been given a R-rating, thanks to Deadpool that showed a superhero movie with a R-rating can make a money and be a hit. The film is tracking to make $60 million on it’s opening weekend. According to Jackman this will be his final appearance as Wolverine a character that he has portrayed since he originated in 2000’s X-Men. There has been some rumors coming out that Hugh Jackman is having a hard time letting go of Logan. True or not it be nice to see him do it one more time. Hey Ryan think you can get him out for a quicky in ‘Deadpool 2’.
Adam Sandler has had what you can call if you like a fall from grace. Sandler has hand some turkeys in the last few years. The movies that he is doing now are being done for Netflix. Yeah his work can be a bit offensive at times. I still get a kick out of his films. Okay so some do suck balls but I can still find a giggle ever so often.
So after watching this trailer for his next film coming to Netflix I will check it out.
In the 90’s one man ruled Hollywood with an iron fist. Sandy Wexler was not that man.
Again one of movie trailers making a Super Bowl appearance is the movie adaption of ‘Ghost in the Shell’. Based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow. The first series was serialized in 1989. Ghost in the Shell is a story about a counter-cyberterrorist organization Public Security Section 9, led by Major Motoko Kusanagi. The story takes place in Japan in the mid-21 century.
A big controversy erupted with the casting of Scarlet Johansson in the lead role. To many it was another example of Hollywood’s white washing. Producer Steven Paul in a statement to Buzzfeed back in June 30th, 2016, hope that fans will be “very, very happy” with the film.
I think everybody is going to end up being really happy with it. They’re going to be very, very happy with it when they see what we’ve actually done with it, and I don’t think anybody’s going to be disappointed.
I love Scarlet Johansson and she has proven over and over again that she can do action. I am hoping that the people over Marvel finally get off their ass and make a ‘Black Widow’ movie
Variety is reporting that Ben Affleck has decided to step away from the director’s chair. Affleck will stay on as producer and star but now the hunt is on for a new directer.
Sources that are close to the Affleck and Warner Bros., said that it was a decision made by both parties.
“There are certain characters who hold a special place in the hearts of millions,” Affleck said in a statement. “Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give. It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require. Together with the studio, I have decided to find a partner in a director who will collaborate with me on this massive film. I am still in this, and we are making it, but we are currently looking for a director. I remain extremely committed to this project, and look forward to bringing this to life for fans around the world.”
Is this another bad omen for Warner Bro., and DC. Awhile ago a story was leaked (true or false) that the script was bad but executives at Warner Bros did care as long as it made money over seas. That may have changed with Affleck and Geoff Johns have wrote a script for the solo “Batman” movie.
I for one will wait and see.
How about you. Is Affleck leaving the directors chair good or bad for the film.
‘Helio’ is a award winning short film from writer/director/producer Teddy Cecil. The short film has won over 50 awards, including Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con.
The film takes place in a post apocalyptic underground society where a group miners work for light to survive. One minor gets an unexpected device from a rebel. The story never does not explain why there is a rebellion. This leads to the miner now being chased by a government that tries desperately tries to stop the miner from reaching the surface. What he finds on the surface shocks and amazes him. The short has very little or no dialogue but that does not take away from the film at all.
The films has to pile a lot of information in the 19:47 length but does it very well. This is a very well crafted and entertaining short movie.
I did not grow up watching the Power Rangers when they came on TV. I was to old and to me I laughed at the stupid stories lines and the high quality(cough) Japanese villains. I should of like it growing up watching mostly Godzilla movies. The Power Rangers have now been updated for a new generation and for those that grew up watching. So expect the violence to be two fold. Today updated means more violence. Okay maybe cartoon violence but still…..Humans are so special.
I am sure if you grew up watching the Power Rangers this trailer and the movie will have you wetting your pants.
