Welcome back to another addition of Movie Monday’s. Today’s entree is a short crowd funded movie from Germany. Airlords of Airia is a interesting short film that takes place in a alternate reality that mixes science fiction, fantasy and steampunk. Now the acting is not that great but you can over look it and just enjoy the visual aspects of this production. The film is dubbed into English from the original German so it does not match exactly but that to can be overlooked. The effects are outstanding standing and shows what can be done by hard working people that love what they are doing.
So sit back and take a look at Arilords of Airia
Boy oh Boy do I have a nice one for you this Monday.
This award winning short film was created by comic-artist Jesús Orellana. At first I was trying to find the meaning and stuff in this piece but after a few seconds but I just start to enjoy it. So I am asking you to do the same. Sit back and enjoy this piece of beautiful work. Oh I got a idea here is a quote from the YouTube page:
ROSA is an epic sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind’s last attempt to restore the earth’s ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival.
The short-film was created entirely by young comic-artist Jesús Orellana with no budget during a single year. Since it’s world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival, ROSA has been an official selection at film festivals around the world such as Screamfest, Toronto After Dark, Anima Mundi or Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival. In October ROSA was screened at the opening night of the Sitges International Film Festival, considered the world’s best festival specialized in genre films. Following the succesful festival run, the short film has attracted the attention of the major talent-agencies and Hollywood producers. Currently ROSA is in development to be a live-action motion picture.

When an old childhood friend tracks him down, Quinn is confronted with the dilemma of choosing to remain idle in a city run by the corrupt Coreley Corporation or finally finish the war he never wanted to be a part of”. Source: YouTube
I am finding more and more excellent short films on the net and this is one of them. Directed and written by Adam Marisett. Produced by Gabriel Paul Napora and Trition Films. Starring Matthew MacChaul and Elysia Rotaru. AMP is another find example of what is now happening out there with more and more imaginative people and company’s being able to produce movie that want to see. Hardware now is available so that we the view public do not have to wait for just the big studios to make fine work.

Hey Poppers it is Movie Monday and I have a short that I watch a few months ago before I started my movie Monday segment on my blog. Today’s short is R’ha. This was a one man project created by created by Kaleb Lechowski during the first year of his studies. Dave Masterson does the voice acting and Hartmut Zeller the sound and music. This is a great example of what one person can do with talent and time. So sit back and enjoy.
