Ryan Reynolds is a marketing tool on his own. Reynolds has since the first Deadpool movie Ryan has constantly tweeted, Instagram images and updates. I truly believe that Ryan was able to get people out to see Deadpool because of the use of social media. Once again he has done it with Deadpool 2. Earlier he used social media to introduce us to Zazie Beetz as Domino.
Now this weekend Reynolds posted 2 pictures of Josh Brolin in full Cable gear. Brolin’s Cable has the cybernetic arm, and eye along with an adorable teddy bear attached to his belt. This version of Cable is trimmed down but looks dam good.
Brolin is looking dam good.
Tonight, Fox’s long-running animated powerhouse The Simpsons joins a very exclusive club of U.S. scripted primetime shows when its 600th episode, “Treehouse of Horror XXVII” airs. How rare is this club? The only other scripted primetime show to reach 600 episodes is Gunsmoke, which ran for 20 seasons on CBS from 1955 to 1975. No…

According to a article in Variety written by Dave McNary “Deadpool” could make as much a $100 million on this long weekend.
Making a estimated a Friday opening of $35 million, which also includes the $12.7 million from the late night screenings.
Fox had been hoping for a debut of between $60 to $65 million but with some creative marking it looks like it will beat out “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” $93 million opening on the same weekend last year.
After years of trying to get the movie made it looks like Ryan Reynolds will finally gets a franchise and people will forget about that other superhero movie he made (cough) Green Lantern.
The film has been getting some good reviews and has scored 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Not bad for a movie with a estimated budget of $58 million.
Well boys and girls we finally get a longer and more in depth trailer for the up coming X-Files series. Yes I know it is only 6 episodes but if you we lived in England that is a season.
I have to say it is fun and exciting to see Gillian Anderson and David Dochovny back together again. In a world that now is some more connected then it was when the original series aired. The trailer lets us know that all is taken into the series and that Mulder fears that is more dangerous than ever because of it. It is also nice to see some old face come back including a certain smoking guy.
The X-Files will be returning in January.

The Hollywood Reporter published a story today stating that Fox has just closed the rights to adapt Boom Studies comic, Imagine Agents for a feature film. The movie will star Micheal Keaton.
Imagine Agents is a book created by Brain Jones and artist Bachan. The Men in Black fashion story involves an agency, I.M.A.G.I.N.E. that tackles children’s imaginary friends when they are no longer wanted. Some of these imaginary friends can not handle rejection by some children and go rouge.
I have read the books and I can see this book being adapted to fit Micheal Keaton. Keaton is the type of actor that could really pull of the type of interaction with these imaginary creatures.
The movie will be produced by Keaton. Producing along with Keaton are Michael Sugar of Anonymous Content and Ross Richie of Boom! Boom!’s Stephen Christy will exec produce with Anonymous Content’s Eli Selden and Doug Wald.

Well Poppers if you have not see or heard it in the air that the first official trailer for the new show on Fox, Gotham was released today. Also there has been a longer version of the trailer released and it give you a little more of the look of the people and tone of this upcoming series.
If you do not know the origins of the Dark Knight then don’t even bother going any further here.
Okay you still there? If so then Gotham takes a different spin in that fact that we follow the young Bruce Wayne from the events of the death of his parents forward. Unlike most adaptions this will not move forward to the adult Bruce Wayne but follow him in his childhood. The story will also give us more insight into James Gordon as new detective in Gotham. Some familiar characters will be along for the ride, The Penguin, Catwoman as a young girl and also Poison Ivy as a child also. The trailer does look interesting. My only problem is that it is on Fox and Fox is not a patient company. The show is from executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”).

Well boys and girls if you still love Wolverine and hoping for another movie you may get your wish. New from Deadline website is that Twentieth Century Fox have started negotiations with James Mangold and star Hugh Jackman. The domestic performance of the last Wolverine movie did not do that well. The movie did do well over seas and with the combine total of 413 million Fox has decide that another maybe worth undertaking. That is enough money to make “The Wolverine” movie the second highest grossing X-Men film. So there.
Oh course I have heard many who said that it is time to either put the series to rest or get someone else to play Wolverine. HOW DARE YOU!!
Yes the movies have not been that great but they are still making money and I will still spend the cash to see it. Once they stop making money that will be the end. I am sure that soon after all the nerd boys and girls will be screaming “Why did they stop making superhero movies”. Stop your crying you nerds. Just sit back and have a fun time. Gee. Of course the ones that are tired of seeing Hugh Jackman, man your are quick to kick the man of the hill and crown a new Wolverine. Jackman is and will be the person people will see and be the one and only Wolverine. I am one of them. But if and or when he is replace I am sure that the nerds, geek and fandom boys and girls will spit on new guy just as quickly. We love to shoot down people that we praise just as quickly as we declare our love for that actor or actress.
Sorry for the rant.
But as of now one site has reported that it is a done deal. Well until I see another report saying that I am going with they are just in negotiations.
