Netflix Original – Wormwood

How big does the conspiracy go? Uncover the truth behind the CIA, LSD, mind control… and the death of a family man.

Wormwood launches globally December 15.

Directed by boundary-breaking filmmaker Errol Morris, Wormwood explores the limits of knowledge about the past and the lengths we’ll go in our search for the truth. A twisting, evolving story of one man’s sixty-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father’s mysterious death.

Combining a virtuosic performance by Peter Sarsgaard with Morris’ legendary interview style, Wormwood examines this case from every possible angle, bringing the viewer face-to-face with some of the United States’ darkest secrets. Wormwood sets a new standard for nonfiction filmmaking and finds Morris working on his grandest canvas yet.

Netflix Original Documentary: Get Me Roger Stone

After the 2016 election, people all over the world woke up to find that Donald J. Trump, New York real estate billionaire and reality TV star, succeeded in pulling off one of the greatest political upsets in history to become the 45th President of the United States. One man who wasn’t shocked – political consultant Roger Stone. A longtime Trump confidante and advisor, Stone said he always knew his celebrity pal was “prime political horse flesh.” Get Me Roger Stone traces the monumental impact that Stone, the youngest person called before the Watergate grand jury and a self-described “dirty trickster”, has made on modern GOP history — connecting Nixon, Roy Cohn and Reagan with SuperPACs, lobbying, the 2000 election, all the way to the nation’s first reality star President. A master of creating controversy and manipulating the media, Stone’s career is a window into the last 50 years of politics that led to this pivotal moment in history. The Netflix original documentary chronicles the high-living, low-down, self-proclaimed agent provocateur and the seismic changes he’s wrought in a political system.

Get Me Roger Stone is directed by Daniel DiMauro, Morgan Pehme, and Dylan Bank and executive produced by Blair Foster.

The Trailer Park: I Am Santa Claus Official Trailer

Hey all

So today’s trailer is from a documentary about 4 men that play Santa Claus and what they do when they are not. I took a look at this because the rookie in the documentary is wrestling legend Mick Foley. I am a fan of Mick from his days in wrestling and from his book, Have a Nice Day. Mike has never been shy about his love of Christmas so I thought this may look interesting. So if you like that a look. You may want to see this film.

We have documented an entire year in the lives of five real-bearded professional Santa Clauses to find out what the rest of the year is like for a man who perpetually looks like Jolly Saint Nick. In the process, they are shown for who they actually are, flawed, flesh and blood men who feel an overbearing responsibility to protect the integrity of the spotless, untarnished reputation of the ‘Red Suit.’ ‘I Am Santa Claus’ is a documentary that poses a question about a ubiquitous holiday figure that few parents ever ask themselves; ‘Whose lap is my child sitting on?’
