Oh God They Can Open Doors Now!!!

Have you ever watched a video and think, yup the end is Soooo much closer then I thought.

BostonDynamics has been releasing video of their various robotics design. Best known for the development of BigDog. Well they posted a video show that their latest creation can now open doors. Yup that is right, open a door.  As Scott(writer on the blog) said, give that thing a machine gun and we are all dead.

Funny,right……………..RIGHT?????

Netflix Releases Photos From “Black Mirror”

Today Netflix released some photos from the up coming series Black Mirror. If you are not aware of this series it is based on a British TV series from creator and writer Charlie Brooker. I highly recommend that you find this series and give it a watch.

The series has a modern day look and feel of the classic American series, The Twilight Zone. If you are a fan of that series you will love Black Mirror.

The Pleurobot robo-salamander crawls and swims like a real amphibian — TechCrunch

The mad roboticists at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne have produced another biomimetic mechanoid — this one based on the lithe locomotion of the salamander. “Pleurobot” imitates the amphibian’s ambulation with its own articulated vertebrae, allowing it to slither along on land or at sea.
