George R.R martin and “The Sons of The Dragon”

We can’t really hold him hostage until he’s done, so we may as well let him do what he wants to do. What he wants to do right now is give us a story of the days of the ruling of the Targaryens. When the sons of the dragons were who ruled the roost.

This prequel story will appear in the anthology “The Book of Swords which is available Oct.10th.It’s not one of Georges books , but by a good friend of his Garderner Dozois. He wants that to be very clear

It will tell the lives and tribulations of the 2nd and 3rd kings of Westoros. He’s stated it will be a fleshed out telling our their history as opposed to the cat and mouse game he plays in his other best selling novels.

Still, George. If we can just move you along to finis—

Never mind. You’ll be done , when your done. Thanks .Credit to George’s  journal for the article inspiration

Game of Thrones and the Deadpool bets

Probably the most interesting article I’ve read on betting in quite a while. I’m not much of a gambler myself, but nowadays you can bet on just about anything. Even on who is going to die on Games of thrones next season…..and by who…..

The thing that cracks me up about betting on “pre determined” out comes(wrestling, TV shows, reality TV) is how does that stop the people who make these decisions from making a mint? The biggest upset in odds I’m aware of is when(I’ll be back in a second comic folk I’m going to wrestleville)Brock Lesnar beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania in 2015.The odds on that was heavily slanted to the Undertaker winning. If I knew the finish, could I not make a mint by betting an hour before hand? What could they accuse me of?….it was pre determined.

(Back folks). The same can be said of GOT. Could not one of the writers or anyone else in the know bet on this before it airs?

Interesting tidbit of the day. What was the very first show outcome that was bet on? ………..(drumroll).Who shot JR?……which would make sense. It also made sense that the gaming boards put an end to it.

Thanks to for the article inspiration. Bet they didn’t see that coming.

Game of thrones Season 8 may be more then 6 Episodes

Okay, can I get this out of the way right now?!?.I may look like a fool in 2 years, but it would not be the first time. I don’t think this series is going to end on HBO.I think it’s going to end in movie theatres in the form of a trilogy.

My reasoning for this is that I don’t think they can wrap things up properly in 13 episodes. I also think they have a built in audience who would be more than willing to pay “movie money” to see a “big screen” finale complete with dragons,White walkers and massive, well laid out battles. I know I would……

Programming President Casey Bloys has told TVLine (Shout out and credit to come) that it is still being decided by show runners David Benioff and D.B Weiss if the finale season will be in fact 6 episodes, or perhaps more(I vote for more….can we vote?).

They say they are heading towards the end game, but here’s my theory. Their endgame is settling the affairs of man. Once that is done in the TV series, the victors will turn their eyes to the North, and the War that will matter the most……because Winter will have come.

TVLine is awesome and they provided source material for this article. You friggin rock folks!!
