….and I can’t stop chuckling. It appears that Ian McShane (after giving a fantastic performance in one episode in season 6 of Game of thrones )is taking another swing at over zealous fans in the latest issue of Empire Magazine. People tend to get really pissy when actors slip up and give away a few details on an upcoming episode or perhaps say something perceived as offense. This is usually followed up by a Twitter apology or written statement from their publicist saying how sorry they are.
Funny to hear him telling those perpetually offended to get Quote-“Get a fucking life”. McShane is premiering in “American Gods” this April 30th on StarZ and he’s one of the main reason the show is on my watch list. An underrated journeyman actor that makes anything he is even better simply by being in it.
This was a very cool thing to read about this morning. It appears, like George Lucas, that J.R.R Tolkien will be appearing on “Legends of Tomorrow”. I only hope that the same inspired episode that accompanied Lucas’s appearance makes its way into this episode. It appears he’ll be In the season finale so hopefully we’ll get neat Lord of the Rings inspired CGI to end the season with.
Also listed on the call sheet for the end of the year is one Laurel Lance. I’m not sure exactly how they are working an appearance of dear departed, or perhaps her Earth 2 Doppelganger, into the show but any appearance by the lovely Katie Cassidy is okay in my book.
It is only a short time before we get to see the Fourth Defender, Danny Rand. On March 17 Netflix and Marvel will give us ‘Iron Fist’. To help us get to know Danny Rand better Netflix released a featurette titled “I am Danny Rand” that explores his 15 year disappearance and the cold reality of what he faces on his return to New York.
I like many of you I know very little of the “Iron Fist” or of Danny Rand. I have to believe that from the work that Netflix and Marvel have done on the previous series, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. That this series will continue the high level of story tell will give us another hero to cheer.
Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
I thought I bring you this interesting short film I found on Youtube on the The CGBros channel.
In a grim apocalyptic future where mankind lives underground, a woman struggles to save her son from dying of mechanical lung failure. After all other options fail, her only hope is to venture to the desolate surface and face the ferocious monsters that drove mankind below!
If you are to believe to all the reviews that have been out so far from the critics, Logan is finally the movie we have waiting for. Logan won’t be out until March 3, 2017 but with the advance reviews Logan is presently holding a 96% score at Rotten Tomatoes.
The film has been compared to a contemporary western. The film has been given a R-rating, thanks to Deadpool that showed a superhero movie with a R-rating can make a money and be a hit. The film is tracking to make $60 million on it’s opening weekend. According to Jackman this will be his final appearance as Wolverine a character that he has portrayed since he originated in 2000’s X-Men. There has been some rumors coming out that Hugh Jackman is having a hard time letting go of Logan. True or not it be nice to see him do it one more time. Hey Ryan think you can get him out for a quicky in ‘Deadpool 2’.
Valentine is here and Netflix has released a trailer for Love Season 2.
