Luke Cage: Street Level Hero

Over the last couple of days Netflix released a couple of video featuring Marvel’s Luke Cage.  This video is the second part of the Street Level Cage. The video series is a blend of fiction with history to give the audiences a street view of the culture that Luke Cage lives in.

Part two of our Street Level Hero series for Marvel’s Luke Cage explores the history of Harlem, New York where we find our hero Luke Cage. What makes Harlem unique? Legendary style icon Dapper Dan along with executive producer and showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker, Mike Colter, A$AP Ferg, and Method Man illuminate the origin story of the neighborhood that shaped a nation.

In this groundbreaking new series, audiences will witness the evolution of Luke Cage (previously introduced in Marvel’s Jessica Jones) after he has relocated to Harlem and is in the process of picking up the pieces following his failed relationship with Jessica Jones.  Like the preceding Marvel series on Netflix, Marvel’s Luke Cage is a gritty, action-packed drama, grounded in the real world with heroes who focus on saving their neighborhood and have their feet firmly planted on the ground.
