That’s is right comic fans and Star Trek fans. IDW and DC have annoucnce at this weeks WC that this unvierse as set to collide. CBR(Comic Book Resources) is reporting that coming this July that a six part issue called, “Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War”. Mike Johnson will be writing the book and art will be provide by Angel Herandez.

The official description of the story goes like this: “Set in Star Trek’s 23rd Century, the balance of the universe will be tested when the Green Lantern Corps’ Power Rings come into the possession of certain Star Trek characters while a dark and powerful evil looms around every corner. Only the combined power of the Green Lantern Corps and the Federation stand any chance of stopping those who worship evil’s might.”

IDW President and COO, Greg Goldstein said that crossing over of these two universes was only logical as they share the same adventure themes and ideals.

Now I have not followed any of the new adventures of Enterprise and her crew since the relaunch of the books. But with this news I may just have to check it out.
